Carroll Villa Hotel

The Carroll Villa Hotel is a great place to stay and dine. We enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, drinks, and music at the bar, and the beautiful room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Carroll Villa hotel was the picture perfect small town b&b, offering all the charm of a gilmore girls episode with the addition of the beach being less than a 5 minute walk away. The room I stayed in was beautiful, with plenty of room and a quiet atmosphere. The charm doesn't stop at the hotel, with the Mad Batter restaurant serving up some of the best chocolate chip pancakes I have ever tasted, and a menu that offers something for everyone. The staff were absolutely charming, warm and welcoming, making me feel like I was visiting with old friends. Manning their front desk were some of the sweetest people, offering warm smiles and welcomes, and help whenever needed. If I ever visit cape may again, I will be booking this hotel, and spreading the word to my friends and family!

Very nice stay in late September. Room was very comfortable and updated. It is walking distance from the beach and shopping. Linda at check in was so pleasant and hospitable. The designated parking is a good walk, however we knew that ahead of time. We felt the location was worth the walk. We were able to do some shopping at the Washington Street Mall as we walked past there to parking.

Lovely hotel and staff, had a king room very clean, nice elegant and spacious , perfect location for cape may, will be coming back for sure. would highly recommend staying!

Our stay at the Carroll Villa was wonderful from start to finish. The rooms were full of Victorian charm, blending historic character with comfort, which made the whole experience feel warm and inviting. The restaurant was outstanding — every meal we had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. A special thank you to Linda at the front desk, who was incredibly gracious and welcoming; she made us feel right at home. We can’t wait to return!

The Carroll Villa Hotel was absolutely wonderful for our family's stay in Cape May. The location was perfect as it was a quick walk to anything you could want and the staff could not have been better not only at the hotel, but also the restaurant. We enjoyed breakfast one of the mornings at The Mad Batter, which was fantastic. The addition of parking and beach tags were also a nice perk. We will definitely consider it as our first option on any future stays.

The Carroll Villa Hotel was very nice for a weekend getaway. BEST location for the main attractions in Cape May. The Mad Badder was very good. No parking at the hotel but not a far walk from the parking area. Only 2 complaints: no place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee in the morning, had to walk up to the boardwalk which is of course no so private and quiet. Secondly, the bed was not comfortable at all, very stiff. Was expecting a more comfortable night's sleep.

This is such a beautiful hotel and is great for couples! The hotel has the original Victorian style feel throughout it while also having a refreshed bedroom look with updated furniture and bath appliances. The staff is very friendly and was there to help us with anything we needed. We especially appreciated the attention to detail the cleaning staff took to making sure our room was as perfect as possible. Look at the swans! The Mad Batter Restaurant is also a great place to get any meal you please. We went for dinner and breakfast and were very happy with our experience there. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come stay to stay at the Carroll Villa Inn if we’re back in the Cape May area!
